Co-Ed Slowpitch LeagueSeason started 01/01/2013
The top tier of slowpitch softball in Britain is the National Softball League (NSL). Introduced in 2009 with fifteen independent tournament teams across the country, the NSL was originally played over three tournaments. Now, in 2011, thirteen teams are competing in a five-tournament event, which then culminates in the BSF Premier Nationals tournament, with the winner progressing to European competition in the following year.
Slowpitch softball was brought into the UK in the 1980’s and has grown to become a thriving summer sport played in cities all around the country. The NSL represents the pinnacle of British competitive slowpitch.
